The cheese is best when melted in the oven or mixed into e.g. steaks. It is not suitable for melting at too high a temperature, e.g. directly in an frying pan or in the microwave. Therefore, remember not to have too high a temperature in the oven and that the cheese lies on an even layer of a gratin or pizza which then "cools" the cheese to not get too hot as it dries instead.

For the best consistency, the cheese should be stored in the fridge for at least three days days in the refrigerator before slicing or grating it.

The product is based on oil, water, modified starch and spices. Starch is one of nature's most common substances and by attaching different natural different natural compounds to the starch molecule, you can get different properties in food. In this case, it helps to create the emulsion between the oil and water that usually mixes and water that normally mix together. Two different types of modified starches are used for this product, which are based on potato and maize corn starch.
