What do our customers think?

Hi Helene Andersson, Head of Nutrition at Karlstad Municipality!

- What do you use SimSuFoodS products for?
We use Simsu in many different dishes. It is a great product that contains a lot of protein and iron that the body can absorb.
We cook many dishes such as schnitzels, nuggets, kebabs, stews, but also dishes where there should be meat in the usual case but which we replace with Simsu. Sometimes to 100% and sometimes we mix mince/meat with Simsu in everything from 25% meat/chicken/meat - 75% Simsu and 50% - 50% and it turns out great in all mixtures. The cost of the dish goes down a lot this way without deteriorating the taste and texture.
We also bake bread with Simsu, which also turns out great. Just change some of the flour, and thus get more protein in the dishes when we serve, for example, broccoli soup or potato and leek soup. We have also tried to make chocolate cake with some Simsu for our elderly, which was also very successful.

We also use it in our crisis menu where it fits very well because it is a dry product that is easy to store without refrigerator and freezer, and we can then cook the dishes on our muurikkor outdoors without access to electricity.

- How long have you been using SimSuFoodS products?
We have probably been using Simsu for 2 years now and will continue to do so.

- What do you think is the best thing about SimSuFoodS products?
The best thing about Simsu is that it has no aftertaste, is easy to work with and have at home and can be used for many different types of dishes, and we notice that children, students and our elderly enjoy the dishes we cook with Simsu. Just thumbs up.

- Do you have any advice or tips for those interested in trying SimSuFoodS products?
Read the recipe and stick to the amounts the first time you try it so you can see what will happen.
Simsu is a good product with Swedish ingredients and the fact that it is from the plant kingdom and climate smart is also a big plus. I'm in contact with Andreas at Simsu and bounce ideas and new recipes, great as he can answer if they have tried and if it can work.
